About “Coffice”
Coffice is an unmanned coworking space located in the Jōdoji area of Kyoto’s Sakyo Ward, near Ginkakuji Temple and the Philosopher’s Path. The first floor features a counter-style space where phone calls and online meetings are allowed, while the second floor offers quiet work areas and a meeting room—each floor providing a different type of environment. Situated in a cultural zone with several universities nearby, Coffice welcomes drop-in users, making it ideal for a quick stop during business trips or for use as a workation spot.

2nd Floor: Quiet-focus workspace.
Low-volume conversation OK.
The second floor is a quiet workspace designed for focused work.
It features an office-style layout with five semi-private booths, table seating, and a meeting room that accommodates up to six people.
Low-volume conversations and online meetings with headphone are allowed with consideration for others.
1st Floor: Conversation-friendly.
Phone/video calls welcome.
The first floor retains the atmosphere of a former snack bar, offering counter seating suitable for working on a laptop, phone calls, and online meetings that involve speaking.
It also occasionally hosts events and is planned to be available as a rental kitchen.
How to Use
Our space is part of the E-Office network.
To use the facility, please install the dedicated app “いいアプリ” on your smartphone and register as a user.
You can unlock the entrance door by scanning the QR code displayed at the entrance using the app.
Unfortunately, the app is only available in Japanese, but we have an English PDF guide explaining how to use it.

Three Ways to Use Coffice
Drop-in
No reservation required. Free seating. ¥160 per 30 minutes (tax included), with a daily maximum of ¥2,200.
Reservation
The meeting room and the Wide Booth can be used with an advance reservation.
Monthly Membership
A range of plans is available, starting with the Full Plan, which provides 24/7 access for ¥11,000 (tax included).
